What actually changes when you have a strategy built around your story
A little while ago I started working with a coach who came to me feeling completely lost around her content.
She was showing up. She was trying hard. But every week felt like starting from scratch - staring at a blank screen, wondering what to post, grabbing something random and hitting publish just to get it done. She wasn't sure if anyone was even reading it. And she didn’t feel any of it was really doing anything for her business.
Sound familiar?
What she needed wasn't more content ideas (she had plenty of those). She didn't need another list of caption prompts or a week's worth of Canva templates. What she needed was a clear strategy - one that was built entirely around her, her business and her stories. A system that made content feel purposeful rather than relentless.
So that's what we built together.
What actually changes when you have a strategy built around your story
The first thing we did was get clear on who she was actually talking to - not in a vague "my ideal client is a woman aged 25 to 45" kind of way, but really specifically. What was keeping her audience up at night? What did they believe that was getting in their own way? What did they need to hear from her, specifically, to feel understood?
Then we built her content strategy around the answers to those questions. What her audience needed her to post, why, how often, and - crucially - what she wanted people to know, feel or do after every single piece of content she created.
We also worked on her stories.
This is the part that surprises most founders. They come to me thinking they don't have interesting stories to share. And then, within the first conversation, I'm sitting there thinking - wow, this is genuinely amazing - why aren't you talking about this?
Or often, they have ideas but aren’t clear on how to apply these so they make sense in their content.
Your stories aren’t just your dramatic origin moments. They’re the small specific things from your working week. The client conversation that made you think differently. The mistake you made that taught you something. The moment something finally clicked. Those everyday stories are what build real connection - and they're what make your audience feel like they know you before they've ever spoken to you. That’s what builds connection, and that’s what builds trust.
Once my client had her strategy and her story framework in place, we built her a simple weekly system. A Trello board that mapped out her content each week - topics, stories, CTAs, formats - so she always knew exactly what she was working on and why. No more blank screen Mondays. No more random posting and hoping for the best.
What happened next
The shift I've seen in her confidence has been one of my favourite things to witness.
She hasn’t suddenly gone viral, neither has her follower count completely exploded - that's not the point. It’s because she stopped dreading her content. She started showing up with a clarity and ease that simply wasn't there before. She's more excited to work on her content each week because she has a plan - a real one, built around her. And guess what? You can feel that energy shift in her content.
That's what The Whole Story is designed to do.
It's a 10-week 1:1 experience built entirely around you - your business, your goals, your stories and the results you actually want from your social media. In the first four weeks, I build your bespoke strategy. Not a template with your name on it - a genuinely personalised plan that guides you on what to post, who you're talking to, how to find and write content they want that also sounds like you, and how to weave your story through everything you share.
Then for the following six weeks, we bring it to life together. Three 60-minute sessions to use however you need them - implementing your strategy, writing your founder stories, reviewing your content, building the confidence to show up consistently and as yourself.
You also get email and Voxer access throughout, so you're never stuck or second-guessing between sessions. And at the end, your one-page Storytelling Guide - a summary of your founder story, so you know how and where to share it.
What you walk away with isn't just a plan. It's the clarity, the confidence and the tools to keep going long after we've finished working together.
If you've been thinking about getting proper support with your social media, if you're tired of the guesswork and ready for a strategy that actually sounds like you, I'd love to have a conversation.
